Founded in Chicago, DealRoom was created by a former M&A advisor, Kison Patel, who saw industry-wide technological inadequacies that prohibited deal success. He wanted to fill the gaps within the financial technology industry with a client-oriented culture.

Description:

At DealRoom, we’re proud to offer innovative SaaS products for the M&A industry. To help us continue expanding our offerings, we’re in search of an experienced product manager to lead one of our product offerings, support others and drive the development of new solutions. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and enjoy engaging with end users. They should be motivated by the challenge of solving complex business problems and be a great team player. This person should be highly skilled in product management with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from strategy to launch. We are seeking an individual who can skillfully guide a cross-functional team in developing products that deliver positive outcomes for both our customers and our company.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the strategy and development of one of our product offerings and lead product initiatives for other offerings.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product life cycle, including product and market research, customer interviews, competitor analysis, planning, requirements and roadmap development, product launch, and adoption.
  • Create and communicate product artifacts that describe business cases, use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, marketing, sales and leadership teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans.
  • Contribute new systems and processes for continuous improvement of DealRoom’s Product Management capability.

Who you are:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of business and product metrics, and product-analytics tools.
  • BSc in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in English
