Why Decisive Communication is Vital for a Successful Integration

“I think one of the biggest lessons that I’ve learned over time is that when conducting due diligence, it is more than just reviewing the business on paper."

From his years of experience in both investment banking and developing SaaS companies, Bacon discovered that it is vital to consider the perspective of ground-level employees and teammates when conducting M&A transactions.

Bacon suggests that early on it is important to simply walk through the target company or the company seeking to acquire you and look for cultural fit. Bacon says you can learn a lot from simply observing how company's employees are situated, what they’re working on, how they talk and interact, and even the shape of their kitchen.
